Dear Readers
Today I am going to write about my college friend and how he has become an inspiration to me.
Let's go for a flash back, in the year 2006 I had to join Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering as I did not have sufficient financial background to join Bachelor of Engineering.
There I met so many good people in my life. One of them is Kiruba, my close friend till date.
He was a normal student, average scoring in academics and known for his good conduct. The day I came to know about his family responsibilities I was shocked. Some of us might have seen in movies, one guy who has more sisters has to work day and night to discharge his family duties.
He has one elder sister and two younger sisters. He never worried about his future and the huge responsibility he has. His father is working in a Jewelry shop. Here comes the interesting turn in the story, amid all these duties and responsibilities he had enough time to find his love.
He used to wait for his lover in a bazaar every after 8 pm. After finishing the diploma, we all took different routes. I joined engineering college to chase my dream. He could not do it due to the responsibilities from the family side. Instead, he joined a mechanical company which far away from Bangalore, an isolated place. Even for a small tea shop, you have to travel 20 mins.
He spent his life there for eight thousand rupees salary for about 7 years. During that time, He was able to get his two sisters married. He was re-paying the loans taken for the marriage slowly. I have never seen him tired or complaining about all these. Always, the same innocent smile on his face.
For such a good person, will the god leave him without help. yes. He got an opportunity to work in Dubai. It enabled him better to finish his family duties. He is there till date. His respect towards friendship is unbelievable, he used to travel 100's of kilometers each time he comes to India to meet his friends including me. Most importantly, he ensured he get the permission for his love marriage. They both are married now and with three kids.
A few months back I went to his house-warming ceremony in our Native. he is still the same positive person. This story is for those who think that they could not take care of themselves because of family duties. He is a great inspiration to many of us. I wish him and his family a great life ahead!!
Thanks for reading!! Jai Hind!!
